4. Text Messaging and Mobile Information

When you expressly opt in, Direct Services and Logistics may send text messages concerning quote requests, scheduling, dispatch, pickups, deliveries, shipment or service status, appointment reminders, customer support, account activity, and other information related to services you requested.

If you separately opt in to marketing messages, we may also send promotions, special offers, or other marketing communications. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for assistance. Opting out of text messages does not prevent us from contacting you through other lawful methods when necessary to fulfill a transaction or service request.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer SMS opt-in information or consent records. SMS/Text Messaging Program

Program details

Direct Services and Logistics offers an SMS/text messaging program for customers who expressly opt in. Messages may include quote follow-ups, appointment reminders, scheduling information, dispatch notifications, pickup and delivery updates, shipment or service-status updates, account notifications, and customer-support communications.

Customers who separately consent to marketing messages may also receive promotions, special offers, discounts, and service announcements. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

How users opt in

Users opt in by entering their mobile telephone number and affirmatively selecting the applicable unchecked SMS consent checkbox on a Direct Services and Logistics website form, contact form, quote-request form, booking form, or other electronic form.

Marketing and non-marketing SMS consent options are presented separately. Consent is voluntary, and SMS consent checkboxes are not selected automatically. Merely providing a telephone number or submitting a form without selecting an SMS consent checkbox does not constitute consent to receive text messages.

Direct Services and Logistics maintains records of SMS consent, including the method, date, time, and source through which consent was provided.

Message frequency and charges

Message frequency varies based on the services requested and the recipient’s interactions with Direct Services and Logistics. Recipients may receive multiple messages per week while a quote, appointment, pickup, delivery, shipment, service request, or customer-support matter is active. Marketing message frequency may vary.

Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your messaging or data plan.

Opting out and obtaining help

You may cancel the SMS program at any time by replying STOP to any text message. After you reply STOP, we may send one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional messages from that SMS program unless you opt in again.

For assistance, reply HELP or contact Direct Services and Logistics at [SUPPORT EMAIL ADDRESS] or [BUSINESS TELEPHONE NUMBER].

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sharing of SMS opt-in information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Direct Services and Logistics does not sell, rent, share, or transfer SMS opt-in information or consent records to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
